Directions From Navajo 36

Go east on Navajo 36 (n36). n36 is south of Shiprock around mile marker (mm) 88. around  mm21(?), at Ojo Amarillo turn right on Navajo 3005. after about 3 miles, you will intersect with Navajo 3003. turn left on n3003. you will go across hiway 371. the next intersection will be County Road (cr) 7100. Option 1: continue straight on n3003 to hiway 550. at hiway 550, turn right and go 3 miles to the hilltop store. at the hilltop store(between mm140 and mm139), turn right on cr7150. go about 5 miles on cr7150. When you see the chapter house on the left side of the road, turn left at the turn off. Option 2: turn right at cr7100. you will encounter a 4 mile stretch of dirt road. after 3 miles on the dirt road, cr7100 will turn left for another mile of dirt road. do not continue straight on cr7140. you will cross a bridge at Gallegos wash. at the first paved intersection after the bridge, turn right on cr7115. cr7115 will curve to the left. at the T with cr7150, you will see Huerfano Chapter House. turn left on cr7150 and then a right to the chapter house.

OPTION 2, From Shiprock: Go to Farmington, go on to Bloomfield.

 Direction From Bernalillo

Go north on hiway 550. continue thru Cuba, mile marker 62-65. Go another 74 miles. after mile marker 139, you will see a store on the left side of the road. turn left at the store on County Road 7150. go approximately 5 miles on cr7150. when you see Huerfano Chapter House on the left side of the road, turn left at the turn off.

Directions From Gallup

north on hiway 491 to Newcomb. turn right on Navajo 5 to Burnham and on to hiway 371. turn left on hiway 371. go about 4 miles on hiway 371. around mile marker (mm) 99 turn right on County Road (cr) 7030. at cr7100 intersection, take a right. you will encounter a 4 mile stretch of dirt road. stay on cr7100 and turn left about 3 miles on the dirt road. left is cr7100, you will see chaco plant about a mile ahead on cr7100. do not continue on cr7140. the road will return to a paved road at chaco plant. you will dip down and cross a bridge at Gallegos wash. turn right at cr7115. cr7115 is the first paved intersection after you pass the bridge and wash. cr7115 will curve to the left. at the T with cr7150, you will see Huerfano Chapter House to the left. turn left on cr7150 and then a right to the chapter house.
